Hi friends! After debating if I should or should not for the past few years, I have decided to give it a try and start my own blog. The idea of having a creative outlet to share bits and pieces of my life as well as to encourage others seems thrilling and challenging. I like to challenge myself because it pushes me out of my comfort zone.
For those of you who do not know me, I am a college sophomore, studying Business Management (and Entrepreneurship) and living in Nashville, Tennessee. When I am not in class or studying, you can find me at a local coffee shop catching up with friends, adventuring around the city, running at the gym, working at LifeWay, organizing anything, or attending RUF. RUF (Reformed University Fellowship) is the campus ministry I have been attending since the beginning of my freshman year. Its solid and theologically in depth teaching and rich community have played significant roles to growing my faith and relationship with the Lord in the past year and a half.
This photo is from our annual RUF camping trip in Dickson, Tennessee this past September.
I will be sharing life stories, thoughts and updates, about both the ordinary and extraordinary. My hope is that this blog will be an active place where we encourage each other as fellow journeymen on the path of life. Often life seems stuck in repeat, with nothing new on the horizon. But even in the ordinary and boring days God is at work behind the scenes, and His grace IS present. He extends His grace to us even though we are so undeserving.
We all need to be reminded of that truth. We all need encouragement at times. Let us encourage one another by reminding each other truth of the gospel.
I want to be transparent because I am broken and flawed, yet I am so loved by God at the same time.
Truth is, my life feels crazy and blurry a lot of the times. I like to think I have it under control, but I don’t. I never have, and I never will. God has my life and me under control, and He is writing a more beautiful story than I could ever dream.
So grab your cup of coffee (or tea) and join me on this spontaneous adventure called life.
Question: How can you encourage someone today?
Thanks for stopping by! I would love to hear from you. Please feel free to email me at itsannapollard@gmail.com or find my Instagram here. Have a lovely day!
Cool! Good luck with your new blog! Love you!
